What are Atletico Madrid the underdogs?

ZSP have been playing shit in the domestic league, with 3 draws and 2 losses in past 5 games. why are they the favourites?

Atletico could care less about this game. They've already clinched first place in their group, and are leaving Villa, Costa,Rodriguez, Godin, and a few others back in Spain. If you want to pound a team that could care less in a cold night against Russians, you might want to look for a better spot. I don't see a striking combo of Adrian and Baptistao making a whole lot of noise.

I'm going with the under 2.5 goals in this match. I think having in mind the cold/snowing weather in Russia at the moment I think altetico are just going to try to keep their defence structured. Altetico have conceeded only 9 goals in 12 matches and I do not see Zenith scoring more than 2. Atletico have nothing to fight for I don't expect them to score.

Zenit will need to play an aggressive game to have any hope, down 3-1. I think it's unlikely that they get blanked at home. Likewise, Athletico is still vulnerable as Zenit did manage an away goal, but if AM can find the net even once, it would likely lock them up for the victory on aggregate. Athletico doesn't want to settle into a game where they're just defending for 90 minutes.
