PLAY #1: [CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] MARSEILLE-NAPOLI OVER 2/2.5 [-125]
Need to confirm the Napoli lineup, but indications are that Higuain will be included. That is the key for me to go for goals as he is an important cog for the Italian side. The home side has conceded five times in their first two group stage matches to Arsenal & Dortmund. Napoli will feel they have a great shot to get a result, but will have to find their goal scoring touch on the road. That is why Higuain again is a key inclusion for me as he really helps open things up for this squad both as a scorer and threat going forward to give room for others. In five competitive home matches this year, Marseille have scored at least once in all five and conceded in all but one. Napoli have failed to score in their last two road tilts - in Serie A against Roma and CL play against Arsenal, but neither saw Higuain included in the mix due to injury. Prior to that, Napoli had scored at least twice in three road contests in league play. Higuain was included in two of those and scored in both.
PLAY #2: [ENGLAND L1] COVENTRY CITY-LEYTON ORIENT OVER 2.5 [-114]
The two top scoring clubs in League One meet. Some times that can be tricky as they cancel each other out, but this one seems a shot for seeing some goals. Conventry's home matches in league play have seen a whopping 29 goals total in just six matches. The home side have scored at least twice in five of six at home and three or more in three of those. They have conceded in 5/6 with multiple goals allowed in four. Leyton Orient has tallied 15 away goals in six matches. It's a bit top heavy with nine goals coming in two matches, but they do have at least two goals in four of six on the road and have scored in all six. They do have three clean sheets, but those have come against much more goal challenged clubs than Coventry. You've got four of the top five scorers in the league set to be involved. Hopefully, they do not disappoint.
