Confused about soccer wagering

Real Salt Lake scored in the 90 minute to tie the game up , ending the match in a draw.

I thought since I bet the "pk" that it would be a push but I look at my ticket and it says this

They gave me half my money back, is this correct or should the bet have been fully refunded?

You didnt just bet on the PK though, you bet on "PK, -1/2" which is "-0.25" so you have a handicap of -0.25 from the start. Thus you lost half of your stake as only half of the play (the PK side) hit.
