    Upset of the Day:
    14:45 Schalke (Ger) PAOK (Gre)
    Away
Line has been moved from -1.5 to -1 with pub on Schalke.
I feel this will be real Upset game of the day.
At least +1 is good bet.

What happens if PAOK wins this tie and Metallist is ruled eligible for Champions League? Is PAOK screwed since they lost to Metallist in the previous tie?

And if Schalke loses to PAOK, but Metallist should have been their opponent until UEFA stepped in, how do they deal with Schalke? Losing to a team that should not have been playing you in the final qualifying round should be sufficient reasoning for you to get another crack at it against the team you were supposed to play, no?

The line has been shifted to AtM. Be careful here, Barca lovers! Remember Dortmund vs Bayern Munich in super cup game 2 weeks ago?

I have not done the research yet, so I do not know. I will find out soon.

Difference is Bayern is a finalist of uefa ucl and is a real contender to be one of the best. Atletico is eshh, that one team that lost to Rubin at home in Europa L.

Greek side PAOK Salonika were originally penciled in for a Europa League spot, though have been given a shot at qualifying for the Champions League after Metalist Kharkiv were disqualified amidst match-fixing allegations. So they are out.

I've read that Metalist is appealing this decision, and they won't know the result until the day before group-stage draw is announced. How the heck are going to figure out where Metalist fits in if they didn't finish qualifying?

I guess just the winner of PAOK-Schalke goes through, and Metalist gets an automatic spot in the group stage if they win the appeal. It, however, seems unlikely that they'd win the appeal.
