I stumbled upon this article earlier and all I said was WTF?!
"Some of the sites that have been added in the latest round of blockings are Expekt, Stan James, SBOBet, 188Bet, Marathonbet, Dafabet and Boylesports, with six of that sites domain being put on the blacklist. The blacklist contains a who’s who of online gaming sites, including William Hill, 888, PartyPoker, Betfair, Betfred, Sportingbet, Ladbrokes, Unibet and PokerStars."
I have a friend based there in Bulgaria and he loves to bet on the Premier League, too, like me. I emailed to ask him how's his gaming life and he sounds upset. He's got accounts on Bet365, Betfair, williamhill, Betfred, SBObet and Ladbrokes. And he's still sweating on some money left there--his biggest potential loss is on PokerStars. He can't withdraw it!
Any Bulgarians or Bulgaria-based punters here who can still access some of these sites and care to share how?
Bulgarian government obviously wants to get a piece of the action they that these big sites are getting. They want the tax money but have no way of getting it. They say they offer licence but have no official laws for it. The bad thing is these banned sites are the best in the market and people there who enjoy online gaming are prohibited from accessing them. Wow. Just wow.
Share your views please or if you know alternative ways to access these sites, please share them here. I'll try to find, too, and post them here if I can find some. Thanks a lot!
