Just because something is unpredictable doesn't mean you shouldn't bet on it, though shying away from heavy favs/chalk of any kind probably a good idea.

I was pretty positive in group stages, and have been pretty even in the later stages, so I wouldn't say it has been too bad of a tournament for me. My over/under calls were a lot better later on, team ML in the group stages.
