I do the small bets with a good margin. Use bet365 for in play stats before I lump on a favourite. Wait for it to hit evens and I had about an 80% success rate.

Most i've bet is about 600 gbp in various bookies to win about 400 on overs.iI know i should risk more and take lower odds.

My biggest ever stake was £7,000 at bet365. I won at odds of 1.8 and they limited my account to £2 afterwards. When I asked why they told me it was because I had placed a lot of money on minor leagues. It wasn't even a fixed game I won all the money on. My usual stake is probably £50 for above evens, £100 for below evens.
