Anybody looking at this match?
Poor Forest, whom I adore, were hit by a red against verrrrryyyy strong Cardiff last match on Saturday and they looked strong at first but Cardiff obviously wore 'em down and a few non-calls Forest's way later, they just looked agitated and frustrated but kept fighting only to lose 3-0. Very sad match in my opinion as it was their first defeat in 10 matches and this is the best showing Forest has had in a few seasons with the wind seeming to be picking up in their sails a little more now with Billy Davies showing again why he can be a good fit at this club. They are in a fight for top 5, which would be fantastic considering the downturn they've had over the last few years. However, Boro are no slouch either and sit at just 55 points below Forest's 63. They lost at home to another top-5 contender in Brighton Hove last match 0-2. Forest has the better form coming in at L-D-D-D-W and Boro at L-L-D-L-L and have actually not won in the last 7. Forest have been able to pick up points lately and score goals, with a +5 dif compared to the -7 for Boro. I can see Forest bouncing back here, definitely putting up a goal or 2 with a playoff spot yet again in the sights with a win here. The caveat is the 7 of the last 8 in Boro between the teams have been a draw. Halford, who has been strong at the back, was taken off with injury last match and Henderson will also begin his suspension this match. Couple holes at the back there that need filling...ummm...ya...let me rephrase...there will be a couple of players out for this match but I am still leaning Forest to come out with a chip. However, it is these times that teams take the emotions of last match too pessimistically and fall flat. I expect Billy Davies to get the men ready for a tough match that has a lot on the line in pride for top finish and playoff spots for Forest.
All thoughts are welcome please. I will prob narrow it down, but maybe not...not working today and feel like going for it lol. If Forest lets me down, that's ok, there will be no love lost so...I am thinking I will run the match like this...
Forest PK @1.57 - 1.5U
Forest ML @2.40 - 0.25U
OV 1.5 FOREST Goals @2.20 - 1.5U
OV 2.5 Goals @2.025 - 0.25U
Goalscorer:
Sharp @2.50 - 0.20U
McGugan @3.50 - 0.20U
Thoughts, hopes and prayers welcome lol...
