Handball in soccer - Explain please - Madrid Sevilla

1st one guy falls down and ball hits his hand

2nd one Ref does not call guy complains to ref and then is called. He has his back turned to ball and it hits his back not hand.

If it hits your hand/arm/shoulder/etc in the penalty area it's a red card i'm pretty sure...it's up to you to get that shit outta the way. Someone please correct me if I am wrong though.

What happened? Shoulder shouldn't be a penalty unless the guys arm was fully outstretched then the ref may of given it.

Didn't see the game, but if you're talking about Emir Spahic for Sevilla, it was his second yellow hence the red card.

I dont understand the issue here? Watching it again the Spahic one is a blatant handball, was just an instinctive reaction to knock it away. And it was his second yellow card so has to be a red when you've already been booked

For Sevilla goal Godin clearly poked his elbow out a bit so as to stop the ball going in. And the third pen he tried to dive and head the ball away but tapped it with his hand! Very clumsy but still could be a pen
