Winning the cup in the turkish soccer is the easiest way to participate in european competitions. Genclerbirligi started the league really good, placed in top5 for weeks but they are currently struggling for a while due to their hard fixture. On the other hand mersin team`s first priority this season is to avoid relegation. After this stage of the cup there will be 2 groups formed of 4 team each, they will not e super happy with the busy fixture while they are fighting not to relegate...
Genclerbirligi took the previous rounds pretty seriously won by big margins,while mersin hardly beat a 3rd division team 1-0 where the other team ( tokatspor ) played much better game.
I`m expecting an easy win for the Ankara side. They want the cup title this year,since Galatasaray ( currently the best team in the league ) eliminated yesterday, they will be more eager to win...
