I've been watching Jerm the past week and looks like he's all burned out. I think futbol is one of the harder sports to cap but not impossible. As I will be doing with my other threads, be pragmatic...research, listen and observe other posters to determine my plays.

Today I loved Arsenal and after reading EaglePhan36's thread, and the others who contributed, I fell in love even more.

AC Milan vs Zenit St. Petersburg

What a match this will be! Zenit is hosting this 2nd match in Group C with both these favorites being pitiful in their respective first matches. Milan tied, at home, 0-0 with Anderlecht whom they should have easily grabbed 3 points from and Zenit got trounced by Malaga 3-0, which should've been worse if not for the great goal keeping from Malfeev. So today's match is crucial to both sides and both desperately need 3 points. Although there is speculation that AC Milan's coach Allegri's job is on the line for the poor overall performance from AC so far this year, the new additions of Hulk and Witsel for Zenit may be just too much for Milan today. And even with the unrest on the Zenit squad, with Densiov not playing due to the salary complaints about Zenit spending nearly 100 million on Hulk and Witsel, I expect the russians to pull together and grab the 3 points today, possibly even blanking AC for the second time in the Champions League:

Understand your no play on this but IMO, AC is playing poorly and I can't see them putting together another productive effort, like they pulled off against Parma, where they managed just a draw. At best, they draw against Zenit today but everything points towards a redemption day for the russian squad - Hulk and Witsel salaries justified, climbing back to the top of Group C and their first home match in the champions league resulting in a victory for their supporters.

Zenit is down 2-1 at the half but after the two early goals by Milan, it looks like Zenit is getting quite comfortable and with the late goal by Hulk, I wouldn't be surprised to see Zenit still take the victory!

2-2 just 4 minutes into the second half! So two goals for Zenit in under 10 minutes! Zenit going to win this and Milan shows how vulnerable their defense truly is.

Wow, what a disappointing own goal by Zenit. Hard to have imagined that Milan would score twice, one by deflection and an own goal from Zenit. Guess it happens. Hoping for a better outcome in the Real Madrid match!
