Up a few hundo from my boy Jimbo this morning. Makes yesterday's losses feel a little better. Still a ways to go on that but as we know - NEVER be playing to try to get even.

Jimmy's feeling randy today! Fukker ditched me at both 2/5 tables and is playing the top level of 10/20 $800 min buy in.

SO tempting but I just can't bring myself to do it. My roll's alright, but he gets lucky on me for a couple of those and I'll....

Except for sitting with Jimjames and DragonKelly of course. Shit like that is all that's working. Not the 6 tabling 1/2 and lower levels because they're almost all nits like me. Not sitting full ring 2/5 even if it's action packed because they're fukking rich and they all call or push their entire stack in on a flush draw, etc.

I had this guy that always has huge stacks at 2/5 and 5/10 push $600 on me with 89 suited on a board that he had no hand and no draw on, and I had AhQh with A on board and two hearts. He calls me a a nit at the next table and I'm like you shoved on me with no hand and no draw, and he's like "I really wanted that hand" lol. Wtf? And these are the guys making the big money online. Yes I called and won that huge hand, only to lose another massive hand where I flopped a set and opp flopped made straight, get rivered with the nut flush on a huge hand, etc. I bet $95 into a $180 pot with the nut flush and this penetrate calls looking for the board to pair up with one card to go. Blah blah blah blah the list goes on and on.
The beats, the calling stations, etc. are intolerable.
I am a whale hunter online (only buy in for what they have and isolate them with big hands) and nothing else - and live I'm a respectable grinder.
Amazing how different the two climates are anymore. Fukkin ridiculous. Sbr poker is my online full ring detox. penetrate that shit, too damn painful.
I will be speaking to my new therapist about all of it in full for a long, long time, then she will be sitting on my face.

Getting together with some friends tomorrow, grocery store had a deal on Hatch chiles - white chicken chili it is! Soaked some kidneys & some Great Northern beans, grilled some asado chicken, roasted the chiles, so thick, it even stands up to the ‘Fawk You, J.J.’ test. Setting the crock pot to ‘warm’ in the late morning, should be perfect by party time…..

Lost $160 there 3 tabling with him - played well just ran bad. Still up $200 on the day so that works. He busted out of all 3 tables and is at 10/20 ($800 min buy in) now. He just caught a flush on his one opponent's set for a $1,750 pot and I am so FUKKING tempted to do it....I probably would if there were more opponents. So damn tempted. $30 in blinds every 2 minutes is a fukking nightmare. Actually as I was typing this he left, I think he won like $800, good for him. I predict he'll be back tonight to spew his winnings.

Played pretty well, missed a $15 value bet but that's ok.

Tbh the player pool if you are is very thin and very tough, not necessarily recommended though you can stalk fish w me, lol.

Sorry Not Bovada I meant BetOnLine I used to play at Bovada but they suspended my account no reason given!! I had quit playing about 3 years ago and just started back!! I play smaller blinds than you do!! I like playing and have played for a few years but I have no patience and even when i know better ill make an obvious bad play and sometimes when I didn't know any better! I'm not in Pa but thanks for the information!!

I've come to the conclusion that with exception to the very specific fish (whom I will still target and play because unlike all the sharks that have me labeled as a nit, they will pay me off) I mentioned, my old school approach to the game gets run over by these internet hot shots when playing higher levels. Standard issue old school grinder meets these fukkin hotshots shit, it's a repeating story in poker world anymore.

So I looked into what Doug Polk was offering, and he's got a course taught by this high level cash game guy.
I do like Doug's work a good bit, but you know how much that'll cost you?
