Well, an 11 loss streak in a contrarian Fund is pretty rare but we are sort of making up that "gap" or sharp rise from last year. I can't imagine this whole year has been a dead cat bounce and there is so much season left.
We've been in worse spots and shakeouts over the last few years at SBR. I made a post in the Contrarian Report thread that shows that infamous 2019 chart of the Broader Fund.
Here's the KVB MLB Contrarian Fund after yesterday and 11 straight losses...
That first red line in the chart, if you notice isn't really support. It's more like a resistance of the next range.913 11-Jun BAL +170 -1 916 DET +133 -1 922 MIN +130 -1 Fri -3 Week 1-4 5.03 Week 5-8 -3.32 Week 9 3.75 Week 10 -0.9 Mon -1 Tue -4 Wed -2 Thu -1 Total -6.44
Real support is still a couple of units away. The SMA 10 is now below the SMA 200.
Win or lose, I'm glad we've seen these examples in the charting...
We've officially covered the "gap" from the end of last year.
Let's see if we get a market we can trade now.

No, the Sharon thing was a tad annoying, I was multi tasking at the time, between farting around here I was trying to polish off a piece for Rotowire, than Tessie dog started doing what she does best, being a watch dog and barking, something else annoying was going on at that time I don't remember.
So I stopped what I was doing and I said to myself "Self, WTF is KVB talking about, I have no idea, (which is unusual for me because I usually have a million ideas) Took a moment to figure out WTF you were doi8ng there.
Like I said, just annoyed at that time, you're good.
Oh yeah, then went I got up to see what Tessie dog was barking at and after calming her down I come back to my blood line which is my laptop setup here to discover Microsoft has hijacked my 'chine and decided it's going to install it's latest and greatest version of MS Edge.
Oh joy, that's only like a 60 minute plus update which began behind my back and if I disrupt that it could cause all sorts of hiccups on reboot.
So, I let Microsoft finish doing it's thing than upon startup MS is requiring me to fill out all those annoying fields, you know sign into your outlook.com account, now sign into your MS Office account and on and on and on. And I'm like "WHY!? I was just signed into them four hours ago, I didn't authorize your dopey software upgrade to begin with"
If MS excel which I have been using since the beginning of time wasn't so good (and a few other MS products) I'd blow them off.
Google Sheets now is just as good, but can't work offline line like excel can or I'd blow off excel. LibreOffice is pretty good but doesn't do with the big boys can.

There are bigger things at stake and my abuse of Sharon's info is going to get me booted from SBR soon enough (not by mods).
I need to more careful and use that damn Proton email for once.

Nasher Sharon isn't from here. Sharon represents a larger group that doesn't want me to expose too much of what I do publicly. It could honestly become a matter of life and death.
Poster doves might remember my struggle with this. I am conveying a delicate thing here about what they bring and how they bring it.
I often say to my family that "after what I just posted don't be surprised if I'm killed in some 'accident'"
So you see, I'm the one pushing lines I shouldn't push and literally putting my well being in the hands of posters that might requote just the wrong thing. I am stupid for that but it's my life's work and someone must carry it on.
