Maybe, let me burn one then we'll go over some numbers.

Let's start with some basics. There have been 1020 games played. That's 510 wins and 510 losses across the league.

Of those, there have been 212 wins in relief and 179 losses in relief..which may not be relevant here actually now that I think about it.

I'll burn on then we'll go over save oppotunities and how many of them were blown then see where you stand when compared to the league.

ive only bet 40 in the contest, that’s a lot of times
being ahead with other team last at bats and losing
in a 40 game sample size

I’m actually thankful it’s only for SBR pointe as wouldn’t be
too pretty if this was taking real $$$ from me

just not gonna utilize too much time on my picks in contest after all this

Of the 1020 games there were 402 save opportunities.

Of those 402 save opportunities, 248 were saves and 154 were blown saves, for a 62% save percent and a 38% blown save attempt.

Now we're getting somewhere.

Your record is 21-18-2 so with 6 blown saves 33% of your losses are blown saves.

So if 39.4% of all the games (402/1020) are save opportunites and 38% of those are blown we can work it a couple of ways.

154 blown saves per 1020 games is 15.1%, 6 of your 41 games is 14.6%. You are actually hitting slightly less then the MLB average here.

154 blown saves per the 510 losses this season is 30.1% while 6 of your 18 losses is 33%, slightly more than average for losses.

Now, whether or not you profit I suppose depends on the lines you get and your hitting almost 54%, which is good, no great, any way you shake it, but overall you can see that you can expect almost 1/3 of your losses to be from blown saves anyway.

As for the Rays, they've had 18 save opportunities and blown 6 of them, right on the number.

So with your percentage we could do more. If you keep that up, we can expect that 510 wins of 1020 games to be more like 549 wins. If we have that as an expectation for you, then we expect you get 471 losses.

With the leagues numbers 141 of those would be losses, with your numbers 155 of them would be.

So yeah, losing slightly more than the rate of the league to blown saves and still getting that profit should probably be commended. It boils down to the solid win percentage, perhaps even more than the lines.

Man ...I can’t say this enough
I’ve had 3 games where needed 1 more run with many innings
to go .... and not a single run is scored through the last 20 +outs
once again in contest ...I can’t preach enough how pissed
I’d be if this was for real money
like, I’m fukkin pissed it’s happening in contest
so only can imagine if was losing 50 bucks or more on each of those games

actually haven’t caught that bad luck in real money plays on MLB
im 6-1 , with 5 of those plays posted in here
this my attempt at trying to convince myself not to be furious
fukkin nerve damage acting up adds to the fire also
