Can't let you get away with that post concerning the Falcons Super Bowl 28-3 score with 2 minutes and change left in 3rd.

In football, it comes down to possessions, you can only have a opportunity of getting the ball so many times moving forward comparative to the gameclock

A team normally gets like 3 drive attempts a quarter
28-3 , is down by 4 possessions, as 8 possible points is most you can get in a drive . 3 touchdowns and 3 successful 2 point conversions , without other team scoring... would add 24 points and make score now
28-27 . YOU STILL WOULD LOSE BY 1

I understand your theory on odd probabilities posted to win. But that game , they really were a true 99.8% chance of winning . It all comes down to the clock running out
You could stop other team 3 and out, and you do 3 separate perfect 2-3 monite quick scores with 3 str8 successfull 2 point attempts ....and still not win

That game could he played 100 times again, and Atlanta , in that same exact spot wins 99 out of 100

Writing on phone so might be sloppy

^^^And that is exactly why I never posted that post. That post I never posted is not about probabilities, but it challenges too much of everyone's reality.

I prefer to do that by example, and have multiple times. The insistence on game rules, scores and clock and assumptions about it being played multiple times would be just too much to overcome. It's about initiating cognitive dissidence.

I suppose I can only post this again until people realize where they might be in the story...

Understand that I'm not offering an opinion on what you write, I wish you luck. The only opinion I'm putting forth is that those breakdowns on youtube seem so overplayed, but I never see any real gamblers there. Probably because we struggle from the same thing, not wanting to reveal certain things, but I'm the rare breed that is willing to teach.

Eroding an edge against is a legitimate concern of mine and others that do this. I somehow doubt you share the same concerns.

I failed to get across that "What? You don't like my writeups?" was pretty much tongue in cheek.
    Nothing was meant by it.

I'm perfectly fine with my blog, it's doing well, it's getting to the point where I go to google ads.
Maybe in 4 to 6 months, the blog is still growing but I got regular viewers.

It's my wife actually who suggested going YouTube, the thought has crossed my mind but I never considered it.
My wife does a lot of my editing, she (and others) say people are attracted to my style of writing because I interject humor and personality into my dry and boring stats that has to be used in analytics, you know that better than anyone. Without personality, humor and the human touch than the blog-v-log, call it what you want is just another "been there, done that, played out, same old same old"

Take Doug Polk for instance, he has a gazillion subscribers, he knows his poker as well as anyone.
There are a lot of people that know poker that have YouTube subscribers too, just not as many.
It's his personality that separates him for the rest.

Hey, you know I've been writing baseball here for ten years now.
My style of analytical writing is the way I was taught.
Show the thought process that went into your conclusions using the data presented.
I do that, but I interject some personality to make it more interesting, because without that, it's well, like I said dry and stale.

    But I'm ranting here.

You might find a few games all year where a team has the ball for a 4th offensive possession in the same quarter

Thats not even bringing how impossible it would be to score all 4 possessions and complete 3 two point conversions

When a team in baseball is down 8 to 3 in the 7th
I don't believe the whole this team is a 99.2% favorite bullshit

All because a time clock doesn't apply to MLB,anything is possible when time constraints are directly corrleated with a teams possibility of making a big comeback .

In NFL, it just doesn't work like that .

Wife just brought me some loaded nachos, home made, to the desk as I am watching two screens worth of lines from all over the place and some of the country might get paid today. It' starts in the east then sweeps across the country they get off work at 5 their time.

There should be an influx of money to the market all evening long, then it slows, then it goes crazy tomorrow morning.

I am watching, and eating nachos...lol.

When I'm not being a dumb shit for fun
I'd like to seriously think of myself as a critical thinker
And for life of me , I get what your saying here , but not when it translates to the NFL specifically. Or that game specifically. Its a outlier in all of this . I don't think it can be subcategrized into anything . A true anomaly

Lol KVB ,got a feeling we will by middle of next year have almost exact same discussion on that game

And I wil fail to see the point there then as well

Seasoned ground beef, beens, three melted cheeses, topped with diced tomatoes and a bit of diced onions with sour cream, guac and salsa on the side to dispense or dip as I please.

Fresh, restaurant style chips. The fresh chips make it or break it. I beat the kids when they leave the bag open. Beat em to a pulp every time.

Fresh chips is the key, just like how the bread can make or break a sammich.

    Nomsayin'?

Yeah tortilla chips are hard enough as it is
One big turnoff at at this super authentic Mexican place we have here

They are excellent , but we laugh our asses off at how hard and poor their tortilla chips are .

You can tell they put a shot load of work into their dishes, and the authenticity of how they would make it in Mexico, compared to other places in town .
Yet have the hardest and worst chips I've ever tasted .
We now buy our own thin ones and order takeout from there lol .

When oick up food we leave the complimentary bag of chips there and walk off

    "Little Dumpers!"

Took this little dumper shopping for Halloween outfits today the sluttest ones we could find. The whole time I'm pointing out butts telling her look at that little dumper!

That's my new word she was so pissed. But she secretly loved it I could tell. By the end of the night I took her to the bar and got her drunk and even she was saying it, telling me to look at this little dumper and that little dumper!

    It was epic.
