A piece of nationalism and tradition, not much more really. It's just what they do before events. It's the same song.

A laserlight remake bucks all that tradition. Therefore, it is a terrible performance of the National Anthem.

He not only didn't do the song as written, but he didn't respect a a longstanding tradition when the song is played.

He blew it and it will go down as one of the worst.

The Contrarian Funds usually await market information, triggering closer to the close, so I don't usually post a closing line comparison. LIke I said, while I expect to be close to the close, it is good to see a positive running average...

Just like every sport over the last year, the market tracking Funds have a shakeout. This is a pretty big shakeout and here's a chart of this decade, showing a potential top last year after a good decade. I'll post charts going further back, showing the "bear market" from which this chart emerged...

While there is evidence that the NCAAB Contrarian market is pulling out of a downtrend as the NBA goes into one, we can't ignore that fact that this has been a pretty drastic drop for a market tracking Fund.

With such a drastic drop, we can expect some sort of recovery. Here's a more short term look at the drop and let's watch this closely, real time, as we see the SMA 10 play edge toward the SMA 20 play...

I highlighted the points at which the two averages cross, and while I want to remind you that they are lagging indicators, markets do have momentum and we can see "legs" in the movement after a cross. Usually we're talking about the smaller moving average going above the higher in a rising market, and below the higher moving average in a falling market.

If you notice the first yellow highlight, we see a "down trend cross" but there is a leg up in units before a near 6 unit crash. There's a lot of sideways and that first cross, while it had a couple of winners, on the uptrend, shows a downward market nonethless. Examination of the other highlights show what we've come to expect.

I intend to show a spreadsheet reflecting trades in and out of of these indicators, including other indicators like EMA and a moving average convergence and divergence.

At the end of the day it's tough to say what direction this market is going but I fully expect a short term recovery and intend to capitalize.
