If I were a republican I would be praying he does not win.
He will leave the party in such a bad state that there will not be another Republican POTUS for 230 years.
The GOP might have to disband.
If Hilary wins at least they can regroup and win next election probably.

with Britain & Russia beat Germany simply because this
country manufactured more materials than the next 9
countries combined.
We don't manufacture anything anymore the USA has
service industries, if a war came up & China or Russia

with the steel we used to produce. Kaiser produced a ship a day
during the war with our steel. Pittsburgh & Birmingham are
not the steel capitals of the world anymore.
Trump knows this and will do something about it. We need heavy industry
to come back from Japan China & even Europe, we'll never get back to where we were
but with Trump at the helm we'll be OK, though I'm sure everything will cost more
it will be well worthwhile!

Could we under current conditions with current leaders overwhelm adversaries in production again no,
not because of wages differentials, simply because we are not geared for it.
Kaiser built a ship a day when prompted to do so by Roosevelt. After the War he retooled & built cars.
Bring back industries we had then and sure everything will cost more, maybe each kid won't get their
own car at 17, maybe the middle class won't have a second vacation home in the mountains or Florida
but for many reasons building things here with our own abundant raw materials will be worthwhile.
