God this is pissing me off, coach kelly is fuckin over the team and the fans with this decision. Floyd is a senior and decided to stay and play this year instead of entering the draft, now there is no way in hell he will stay if he is suspended.

im sick of hearing about this other drinking related arrests, they were underage drinking tickets, most kids drink before they are 21, and 21 is a bullshit age anyway. its ridiculous that some 18 yr old can die for his country but not have a drink?

I was at work. I realize some of you have never heard of it so go ahead and google it. he had 2 other underage drinking tickets. What highschool kid doesnt drink ? Like others have said declan sullivan was killed last year when practice was held outside and they sent him up on a lift to film. Someone got killed and the person who made that decision wasn't suspended.

The kinds of arguments you bring up are totally irrelevant. The filming accident was an accident, a tragic one at that. Politics play a huge role in the decision making at universities, especially at one like ND. They had no choice but to suspend him. High school kids drink, but getting caught twice is a different story. Just because "everybody does it" doesn't make it okay, especially when you're on a pedestal like star football players at a very prestigious university.
