I don't predict the games like that when calculating win/losses. I look at each game and try to determine the chance of winning.

So if games looks like this (numbers to illustrate point only):

game1: 40% win chance
game2: 63% win chance
game3: 66% win chance
game4: 44% win chance
game5: 51% win chance
game6: 41% win chance
game7: 52% win chance
game8: 43% win chance

That would imply they are 50/50 to end up 4-4. As said there numbers are not actual numbers, but that is how I come up with 4-4 after their first 8 games.

I even had chicago win the north over them, but they still have a great offense with the best QB in the NFL, I can't see them missing the playoffs. They will make it as a wild card team with 10-11 wins.
