With games like this it makes me wonder. Did Heat win because Thunder were just really cold in the first quarter? Did Heat just get lucky? This is the second game where Battier makes so many points. In both games Thunder have gone on a tremendous hot streak to win or get close.

Harden has been very quiet this entire series. I know he scored 21 points in game 2, but he was pretty non existent in the 2nd half. Most of his points are a product of the pick and roll. Chris Bosh has been defending the pick and roll to perfection. Chris Bosh is the main reason why Harden hasn't been able to explode in this series.

Brooks has finally wised up and now has his guys setting tons of screens for Durant before he catches the ball. It's something I've been saying forever because KD isn't strong enough to get himself in a good enough position to catch the ball and make his move.

If I'm Miami, I keep Lebron on Durant in the second halves and when they set screens for him you need to double him as soon as he catches it. Durant is catching and within a second he either gets a shot off or gets to the basket with his long strides.

Either way, it should not be hard for Heat coaches to devise a scheme that neutralizes Durant's effectiveness coming off the screens. There's lot of things they can do but I would opt for the switch and double team so that he can't catch and make his move right away.
