    Rep Power: 10 UPDATE ON BOS SITUATION...

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    First of all, special thanks to John & Bill from SBR for all of their assistance in this matter, as well as the gambler and BOS...

    Both The General and I have spent much of the afternoon talking with Bill Dozer, the gambler and BetOnSports...

    BOS has decided to address this issue once more due to all of the posting that has taken place over the weekend...

    We will be posting their FINAL decision in about 30 minutes or so...

    I think the biggest fear here was that this could be widespread.

          Just checked at EOG and no news yet, aside from the fact that they have told The Shrink that the verdict is delayed.

            Our policy on client confidentiality restricts our ability to argue our case in public . We will not compromise this policy even though in cases like this it would help us immensely because it makes it easy for anyone to make accusations against us.

            We will as always abide by the decision of the independent arbitration service IBAS - we therefore suggest strongly that you recommend to the client that he takes his complaint to IBAS (Independent Betting Arbitration Service) at +44 207 8812690 or www.ibas-uk.co.uk for arbitration. We will provide IBAS with all the evidence we have regarding our decision including tapes, betting data and accounts information. We will follow whatever decision IBAS makes - Further if any amount is deemed due by IBAS to the customer then BETonSPORTS, Plc will pay 200% of that figure. However, if IBAS sides with BETonSPORTS, Plc, all we ask is that the client retract his negative statements, personally.

            BETonSPORTS, Plc is a publicly traded and transparent organization. We are held, and abide, by some of the strictest regulations and auditing in the world. In no way do we, or would we, risk our reputation or the reputation of our stock holders by acting unprofessionally. We will never do anything other than deal with customers as fairly as possible as the success of the business today and in the future is based on first class customer service. This means having clear rules and following them. The situation being aired in the forum is being described from only the client's point of view, and our inability to break customer confidentiality restricts our ability to give you full detail.

            Here is what we can provide:

            · The client joined two brands within BETonSPORTS, Plc;

            · When the client attempted to make his first large wager, he was informed by the stage manager that steam plays and syndicate plays would not be accepted;

            · At least the next three (3) plays made by the client 'steamed' (and were also bet by other 'large' bettors);

            · The client was warned at least one more time by the stage manager;

            · The client's IP was then tracked and matched to at least two(2) other clients playing the exact same plays (same ones betting "his" plays);

            · The clients account was therefore closed by us for contravention of rules;

            · The client was paid his balance minus bonuses + winnings directly associated from bonuses.

            In short, the client (i) joined, (ii) broke our rules, (iii) was warned about the rules, (iv) continued to break the rules, and (v) was exited from the business with his money + all money won directly associated with his money (the only thing removed from his balance was the bonus + winnings associated with bonus as he had not met the bonus rollover rules to which he agreed).

            Thank you for your time - and, the ball is in the client's court.

              I'd put money on there being more than one (or two) cases here. If this were a single case, BoS would pay up to save face - I think there's a lot more money at stake here.

                And from what I gather, IBAS is quite "bookmaker friendly".

                  BOS is not even a member of IBAS according to their website. We will file a complaint with Antigua and further downgrade them. We have new complaints and it seems crystal clear that BOS sees nothing wrong with stealing a players money.

                    Despite what anyone may think of BoS's claim, they did finally provide one. As such, I think it would behoove the player or the player's watchdog representives to respond.

                    I think three items are at issue:
                    1. Is there legitimate reason to believe that BoS's claims regarding the player's activities are less than truthful? If so, what could evidence BoS provide to prove otherwise?
                    2. If BoS's allegations are true, then did BoS respond in an appropriate manner? If not, then what then would be an appropriate manner?
                    3. Are the terms set forth by BoS even fair? Is it appropriate for a sportsbook to limit 'steam' and 'syndicate' players? If not then should ALL sportsbooks that deem such players be limited or refused also have the rating reevaluated in this light? If not, then why ought this policy be considered more onerous in the case of BoS than in the case of other sportsbooks?

                      Here’s a point by point response to each of the ridiculous accusations BOS made – but just so its clear – even Raiders agrees that BOS should pay every dollar other than portion of bonus not yet rolled – so where is the rest of the money they owe me?

                      1. “client joined two brands within BOS plc” – RESPONSE: I had absolutely no clue that such a thing was wrong. If they don’t allow this kind of thing, they should check it upon sign up and not allow it then – I had been playing at Millenium for 3 weeks before I opened a BOS account. I would have been perfectly happy to play somewhere else if they had simply told me. Was this common knowledge that they are the same book? Come on, just tell me not to open an account – but confiscating my winnings because of that? That’s a joke.

                      2. “when client attempted to make first large wager, he was informed that steam plays and syndicate plays would not be accepted” – RESPONSE: I called in my first wager and the wagering mgr originally didn’t want to take my bet, because he said I am new and he wanted to take only part of it. But after being on the phone with him for 15 minutes – he saw that the line didn’t move and that it wasn’t a “steam bet” and said outright that THIS WAS NOT STEAM PLAY and accepted the wager!!!!! IN THE END RESULT AT GAME TIME – THE LINE MOVED 10 CENTS THE OTHER WAY – I ESSENTIALLY LOST $1,000 DOLLARS FOR BETTING WHEN I DID – HOWS THAT FOR STEAM PLAY?

                      3. “At least the next three plays made by the client ‘steamed’ – RESPONSE: THREE PLAYS???? AFTER THAT FIRST BET I MADE ONE BET MORE ONLY!!! Now that bet was a $10,000 bet (broken down into two wagers back to back of $5,000 each, which is exactly what they told me to do if I wanted to bet the online max of $10,000 – they told me this is how our system works) – so that is one wager and that’s all!!! This is all complete garbage – I want everyone to see these wagers for themselves.

                      4. “the client was warned at least one more time by the stage manager” – RESPONSE: I never received any more “warnings” – in fact I never placed a single wager after the first two – so what the hell are they talking about??

                      5. “the client’s IP was tracked and matched to at least two other clients playing the exact same plays (same ones betting “his” plays) – RESPONSE: I challenge BOS to release that information to the public – matching IP addresses to the same plays as me!! There are many people in my office and many of them bet on sports – but I only know of one who plays on this same site and after this whole fiasco we went over our wagers together, as far back as we could remember, and we did not come across a single time that we made the same play. THIS IS ABSOLUTE BS AND THE EVIDENCE SHOWS IT! Release the info bos so everyone can see that you are making things up.

                      6. “the clients account was therefore closed by us for contravention of our rules” – RESPONSE: as you see from everything I have written there were no rules contravened by me….. the client’s account was closed so that they could keep my money.

                      7. “client was paid his balance minus bonuses + winnings directly associated from bonuses” -- RESPONSE: first of all, and this you probably won’t believe, another lie here – In Millenium – they deducted not only bonus, and not only winnings from the bonus, but an ADDITIONAL $1,400 from my account. So this is a pure lie...but regardless – that is unfair – as everyone has been saying over and over – even raiders!! they booked the bets and must pay them – if they want to take out a prorated portion of bonus that’s a different story – but here they are outright stealing money from me period!!!!!!!!!!!

                        Thanks Art. These guys are just rotten to the core. Why beat a player when they can lose and then just steal the money? You want a bonus? Go ahead(we aint paying anyway).

                          You think? I was warned 6 years ago by a Vegas sharp that BetOnSports lies, robs, and stiff players. Watchdog sites, before taking payoffs, sites like MajorWager, EOG, and The RX pretty much had BetOnSports a "NO PAY" stay away sportsbook. Now these worthless sites have them listed as a safe place to make your wagers.
