    Chicks N' SportsBooks
Despite my efforts to explain to my Gf the Math (She's a Business major), it seems she just refuses to "want" to get "it"... Now with very few Forums out there in general and everyone hidden anyhow, I'm just curious as to the exceptional "Chicks" out there who place a wager once in a while who know what the deal is? They obviously are scattered in Poker, but rarely do I hear of the Sports Wagerers.

Does anyone know of even One?

The best is when you have hotties in the wagering room..You can always tell because the line managers make sure they are in the right places..Makes for a better atmosphere on a long FB sunday

At a sportsbook I worked at there was a female customer who would wager once every couple of days.

She would always wager Baseball underdogs. And she would always win. Out of 15 wagers, she would lose one.

You never know if she was buying her picks or if somebody else was doing the capping for her. But when you think about it, you really can't tell that with any player.

But yeah... the account was under a womans name and all the wagers were made over the phone by a woman who knew the lingo and beat the book for quite a bit.

Other than that.... women players are scarce... but there are a good number of them out ther.

Whenever anyone sees a woman's name associated with betting, people jump to the conclusion it's a ghost. I confess I jump to that conclusion myself. I'm sure that's unfair and there are legit female players out there - but that's the real world.

As of right now, it is mainly a game for men. I would expect that to change with time though.

We have two members here that I'm as sure as I can be are women. One doesn't bet at all. The other does but I'm not sure how "sharp" she is. That would be up to her to comment and she hasn't so far.
