Flip Saunders is not a playoff coach. I seen his playoff record sometime durning the Pistons/Heat series and it was something like 7-29. Somewhere in that range. Yes, you can fly through the regular season, he use to do it with Minnesota to, but if you cant get it done in the playoffs. Your garbage.

Jason Williams stepped it up big time Dan, going 10-10 at one point.

Flip and the Wallaces were a big flop. Should all go. This team has no future with them and only one bench player. Hamilton should drop his mask. Why not foul Shaq everytime, why allow him to establish himself in the game so easily. Pistons offence was so static, just one-on-ones, perimeter, turnaround jump-shots, they drove me mad in this game.
Major change is needed in this team imo.

The players have lost respect for Saunders. And he's lost control over them. You can see it when they walk past each other. Onlooker is right. Saunders is a terrible playoff coach. He has no clue about making adjustments. Compare this series with the unbelievably interesting games between Dallas and Phoenix, where players are constantly trying to outthink each other. Partially, this situation is due to Larry Brown, who never taught his players to think for themselves (as D'Antoni), and instead made them overly dependent on, very strict, instructions. The Pistons lost because they lacked creativity. It was all predictable.
