Why do posters need to try and be the FIRST POSTER to post breaking news?

Ive heard stuff like they will say make an offer. Or they will put out a number and they will be stubborn as hell. They already know i own nothing and have no income.

Last time they called me, they told me to knock on people's doors and ask if i can chop down there trees and then sell it back to to them as firewood. Oh please
