14 straight opening line favorites have won straight up. unbelievable run considering many of these teams opened as 1 or 2 point favorites.

last opening line underdog to win was marshall over fiu back on december 20th.

so with all the favorites winning, and almost all of them covering, the question is - do you fade or go with the old adage "the trend is your friend"?

interesting but i wouldnt read too much into it because it seems to be going as i would guess many would expect. perhaps some of this is coincidence and a reason for us to exercise caution in reading into it.

-i havent seen it but i would guess the consensus record on sbr contests has been more correct than incorrect.

i think uva, lsu and niu all pull slight upsets su.

I post this every year in regards to the bowls. There's always a streak of some kind. Either all the overs come in or all the favorites. Something going into January.

Well I know I hit 3 underdogs yesterday, Rutgers, BYU and Wake.. I know these were close to closing lines but Wake was +6.5 to open I believe and covered

This year it's a bit different than the past few - underdogs were winning quite a bit in December bowls and almost all chalk in january the last 5 years or so.
Perhaps that will reverse and dogs will win the "big ones" this year...

officials are horrible in this game.....intentional grounding no call on the aggies...then they call a catch where the guys foot is clearly out and add a personal foul on to it.....they catch will be overturned ...but these guys are trying to put a@m in the endzone ...they dont need the help

Maybe the bowl committee needs to reexamine how they place teams in bowls? The past few years, the early bowl games have been disaster. Once Jan 1st hits, then the big time bowls become pretty good.

6-6 teams just don't play good football after a long break, in a neutral location, when nothing is really on the line.
