Air Force Serviceman Catches Slugger's 713th Blast

I was wondering what every one else thinks about him. Myself i think he is the scum of the earth, a real jerk and i hope he never hits another home run. Whats everyone else think?

As much as I hate hearing about Bonds. I equally hate hearing about all the bashing.

Like that Philly game last night. They were booing him left and right and as soon as he hit that bomb, they all stood and cheered. Also, after his last at bat, 70% of the crowd headed for the parking lot.

      Make up your minds people.

      -----------------------------------------

I dont think he is a hero, well not until he hits number 756. Thats not going to happen.

I really think he is going to pass Ruth and stop. Seems all this Ruth talk is getting under his skin, and Ruth is Mr.MLB, they dont want no one touching Ruth it seems. And Bonds just wants to pass him to piss all the Ruth lovers off. Hell, they didnt like it when Maris passed Ruth's single season HR record.

Not a hero, but I can certainly uunderstand why he didn't sign the ball. Why should he? If you were in his shoes, the whole damn world is against you, calling you a cheater and all.

But now, he has something they want, I wouldn't give in either if I was him. In fact, I'd make it much worrse.

I'ed break all of these"never happened" records, call a press conference and say what I say on here to the national media.

Why is he scum? Because he took steroids. So freakin what. There is nothing wrong with it at all.

BTW: Is this one of the posts that would be worth banning mo for? Because I'm right and understand things that most don't. Most of you guys really don't even know anything about them, but since they are illeagal(like gambling), you bash them.

The only reason they are illeagal in this weak ass country is because they work. Thats the difference between prescription meds and over the counter mes. Anything over the counter, simply doesn't work. Has nothing to do if it will harm your body or not. If it works, it's illeagal or you need a prescription for it.

Look at GHB, best sleep aid by far in the history of the world. Some moron takes too much of it. A bald fatty in Washington makes it illeagal. I could go on and on. I know some of this doesn't pertain to Barry, but I just can't help it sometime.

Hero ain't the half of it, BGD! to a very secretive religious cult, Barry Bonds has been elevated to almost God-like status. Don't believe me? I got proof....next yer gonna try to tell me that you've never heard of the Sect of the Mammoth and Gargantuan Abnormally Bulbous Cranium Worshipers

i don't mind barry bonds....probably wish he was more up front about something he has done and such but that's about it.

Why should he sign a ball for someone so that guy can sell it and make a mint off of it....I think he did the right thing by not signing it....i may have a different opinion if it was for a Giants fan (since they are supportive of him) or for a 6 year old boy or something like that but that guy wants to sell it obviously and Bonds should not acquiesce to his demands.

I value decency and class and Bonds doesn't have it. It goes far beyond this little autograph episode. He's just so consistently bitter and snotty and lacking in perspective.

Compare him character-wise to Wayne Gretzky or Steve Nash. Being very good at a sport doesn't mean you have to lose your humanity and humility.

I'm not the sort of guy who, if I was looking for a hero, would look to the world of professional sports. But if I was, Bonds would be the last guy.
