It seems like all of my profits come from getting hot and stringing together a lot of small wins. Increasing my bets usually results in me losing profits and then I have to go back to smaller wagers until I increase my bankroll back to where it was.

Soccer has been very kind to me. I cashed a +820 underdog on the ML last weekend and I cashed the same team last night at +270. I don't even like soccer and was never really interested in it until this year but I'm actually doing well with it. It's probably because I know the least about it. LOL.

It's pretty awesome when you throw down $30 on a dog and the return is $246. Granted, you don't always want to take teams that are +800 but sometimes if pays to take a shot in a favorable situation. It's easier to lose a little trying to win a lot than losing a lot trying to win a lot.

As for the Superbowl tonight, I hate the Giants with a passion and want to bet the Patriots. That being said, it's hard for me to back a team with a horrible defense.The Giants are the more complete team. Their defense is a lot better and they have a lot of play makers on offense.

Watch New England win 27-25 and burry everyone that took New England -2.5 and everyone that took the Giants ML.

I'm looking into prop bets. Last year I cleaned up on prop bets. I had Jordy Nelson to score the first TD of the game at 7/1. I felt like a genius when it happened.

Overtime and a safety recorded in the game are interesting ones...

Just a gut feeling play, but I've been wrong on the Giants so many times this year that I'm starting to define insanity betting against them.

Agree on all fronts. Especially how to build -- and then lose -- your bankroll. I don't know anything about soccer; glad you're doing well there.

I just don't have the discipline to skip a side. I'm even thinking of taking New England -3 at + money now.

I'm taking small shots on Hernandez and Ballard scoring the first TD of the game. Both of these teams love the TEs in the red zone.

A $10 bet on Ballard wins $230.

I might also throw down $5 on the no touchdowns in the game prop. A $5 to win $750. It's a long shot, but stranger things have happened. These teams usually play low scoring games.
