My friend has just seen a bug in MLB lines at VIP. He chatted with them and they gave him a 25USD bonus. It is first time I saw that somebody got a bonus for it. Great bookie

I once received 10 € for pointing out a false line at bet-at-home. That is the only time I ever got anything out of it.

I've had little "honesty bonuses" a few times. Bet365 (of all people) once let me place a $200 bet at +180 when the line was supposed to be -180 because I informed them of the error.
I can recall Heritage and Bet Jamaica doing it. I'm sure there are others I am forgetting.
It's always a nice gesture. Good for VIP.

Pinnacle, Sportbet & BetJamaica have all awarded bonuses for pointing out mistakes.
5Dimes, Nine & Skybook have never given me a cent for wasting my time correcting their error-riddled books.

Why correct it? Just bet it. It's their mistake, make them pay. They sure as hell would make you pay for it.
It's not your job to run their business for them. When they are probably making more day in and day out than the average bettor.

An experienced bettor gets to know when a bad line is going to lead to a bet being voided. Playing it is just a waste of time with no possible upside. By informing the book of the error there is at least a chance of getting something out of it.

Pinnacle?? I never got anything from them and they have many mistakes (the mistakes I found were at tennis mostly).

Exactly right. It's not so much a case about being "Honest Abe", I just don't want to place the bet with a bad line and have them decide after the fact if it counts or not. If it loses they may let it stand, if it wins it might be cancelled. Nobody is going to freeroll on me. Not saying all books would do this but trust me it's not worth it to even try. Call and inform them is the safest way to go.
And yes like some others I have gotten $25 and $50 dollars in the past for it.
