    Can the #8 seed topple #1 ??
The 8 seeded Edmonton Oilers have home ice and a 3-2 (best of 7) series lead over the Presidents Cup winning Detroit Red Wings tonight.

There has already been a #7 beats #2 take place (Colorado eliminated Dallas). Love the hockey playoffs.

    Go Oilers!

if the oilers are going to win this series, they will win it tonight.

i believe it was back in 1994, the sharks beat the red wings as an 8th seed.

WOW! what a finish in this game tonight.

there was a very controversial goal that tied up the game late in the 3rd period

edmonton scores 4 goals in the 3rd period to win the game, and the series.

haha i was gonna bet some series prices in hockey and then i reminded myself that these series are way more unpredictable in hockey than they are in basketball

glad i stayed away cause i don't follow hockey enough but to know how crazy the 1st round can be

The way things are going in the Western Conference bracket, we could end up with 5, 6, 7, 8 all advancing while 1, 2, 3, 4 go home. Anaheim just needs one more win for that to happen.

However they would have to do it against Calgary in Calgary so screw that.
