I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Mansion. I realise they are a B+ book. The exhange seems very interesting but I am wondering how they make there dough to keep the site running, Charging 1% for sellers if they win and not charging buyers. It just seems to good to be true because I see incredible lines there sometimes. Any info would be appreciated.

You're right, the lines are incredible. I'm finding them better than Pinnacle for MLB moneylines these days.
I have wondered the same thing about how they make money. It doesn't make a lot of sense.
This is a book where I am putting a lot of blind faith in that SBR rating. But I'll tell you this: it has been extremely profitable to play there for the last year.Comment -

#5My theory is that Mansion knows the future of online sports betting lies in the "exchanges". Mansion might be giving up a little value now, in hopes of building a big user base and being the #1 exchange in the times to come. I know there is debate whether or not the future of sports betting lies in being an exchange, but some very smart people are quite confident. Plus, Mansion is a dual book, having both an exchange, and a regular sportsbook. Discuss.
Being a sports bettor, why ask why? Just soak up the nice lines and laugh all the way to the bank. Right?Comment -

#6I think they plan to ditch the sportsbook part and concentrate solely on the exchange. (The sportsbook is dead in the water - for soccer anyway - crappy lines with very few markets ... makes Hollywood seem like a players paradise for variety!!).
I kind of hope the exchange takes off because betfair need the competition.
I think the exchange is good but if you put an offer up be prepared to wait ... and wait .... and wait. Bit like fishing - in real time.Comment -
