Sportsbook of the day - Las Palmas
I want to start having a thread every couple days dedicated to a different sportsbook. I hope people will share their experience and ask questions about the various options out there.

Today I have randomly decided to start with Bet Las Palmas (SBR rating - C)

I have been using them for years with never a problem.

It is a small book. It's surprising how much you can make the line move with a max bet ($500) sometimes.

It says on their website right now that they are open 24/7 but that has not been my experience. They used to shut down after half-time of the late games. Maybe someone can weigh in on that.

Las Palmas used to be my secret weapon for moneylines. They had extraordinarily opinionated moneylines on nfl, ncaaf, nba, ncaab - but unfortunately they became more square right around the start of last football season.

But they still have some opinionated lines on boxing, Nascar match-ups, props. The moneylines are still there sometimes (just not as often as before). If I was looking to arb Kentucky Derby match-ups, I would definitely want to have Las Palmas open (although, as I mentioned, limits are low).

Bonuses are decent. They're advertising 20% cash sign-up and 15% reloads but I bet I could get a 20% reload if my account was empty right now. The CS guys are very good.

I've never had a problem with a payout.

I think of it as a nice friendly neighbourhood book.

I don't think their "opinionated lines" were anything more than slow-moving lines. I miss them too.

New linesmaker resulted in the slow moneylines going away. In the last year I have found an occassional bet, but I ended up pulling my money after college hoops

              Mud,

You may want to take a look at their racing site, www.autobet.us. Their ParlaycardZ has some of the most advantageous parlay offers out there.

The operation is small and they will be the first to admit it. They have a honorable reputation but had some trouble paying bigger players on time. I personally wouldn't keep 5 figures there.

I've played there for 3 months. I have really liked them so far. I have reuested two payouts. (They offer one free Neteller per month). Both times the money was in my account within 2 hours. My buddy and I do a lot of parlays, teasers, and pleasers with them. We have actually been very succesful (lucky) so far. I give them a thumbs up. I like the fact that they offer over nite lines.

I have enjoyed playing at Bet LasPalmas for years. Fast pay is the norm. A 1st class operation.

There you have it. If Chuck Sims endorses a book you know it is a good book.

Another thing: when you log in, you stay logged in for quite awhile. You don't have to keep signing in over and over.

That makes me one happy degenerate.
