    Curt Schilling
"I wasn't sure what I was going to be this year," Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling told reporters after yesterday's game with Seattle. "I feel I'm pitching better than I ever have."

Hard to believe, considering Schilling's a three-time 20 game winner, but he is off to an awesome start: 3-0, 1.64 ERA, 0.64 WHIP and 16 strikeouts.

Is this a fluke or is Schilling going to have a potential Cy Young season?

Any pitcher of his stature performing for a team that should win 90+ is a Cy Young candidate. At the same time, I expect his ERA to more than double by season's end, so his early returns probably are a bit flukey.

Well he has pitched against a dead Texas team, the Seattle Mariners and the Orioles. So we will see how he does against the better teams of the league.

More than just the caliber of teams (or their current state of offense), it will be more important to see how he does as the season wears on. But again, he's a strong candidate for 20 wins pitching for Boston and the BBWAA really gets excited over that dubya column when selecting Cy Young's.

He has looked sharp, but I still think he will be a great fade down the road.

Yeah I'm not looking at him as a fade candidate. I could see him having a really good bounce back year.

i think we all know he's going to get one of those 5 game winless/no decesion streachs at some point. the question is when will it be?

Papelbon seems to be the real deal. 6 saves so far and leading the mlb

I wonder if Foulke will be on the trading block.

could be down the road. even timlin is doing well relieving. if paplebon continues doing what he's doing imo foulke will be gone.

I don't think many teams would be interested in Foulke, his injuries and his salary

I think they'll move Papelbon to the rotation by the summer.
