    BetWWTS limits
Anyone know why BetWWTS online limits are only $500 for ML, runline and totals for baseball? Yet are $1000 for Hockey.

Is it because the season is just starting and they don't have a feel for teams yet or what?

Those aren't my limits. I've placed 2K wagers on MLB sides and runlines at WWTS in the last couple weeks.

The information on their betting limits is harder to come by than I would have thought. I looked on-line and couldn't find it so I gave them a call. After getting transferred twice the answer I got was this:

on line: $2000 on ML and RL, $1000 on totals

phone: $5000 on ML and RL, $2000 on totals

I asked the obvious question, does it depend on the individual account? The answer was that it can.

Thanks Mudcat. I couldn't find the limits online either. I figured I was getting the short end of the stick.

Why do books have higher limits over the phone than they do online? In some cases, much higher.

Someone gets alerted to the action over the phone, so they can move the line immediately, whereas it may take them a few seconds to notice an internet bet..

Not everywhere moves automatically like Pinny.

It looks like you have some restrictions on your account Rolemand. If you are intent on playing at WWTS, you might want to give them a call and ask for your individual limits and see if you can do better placing bets by phone.

WWTS has different limits for different people. I'm in a similar situation. Most I can get down on any event is $500. Used to be $3000 back when WWTS was being run properly.
