I've bet against Goggles nine times this year and faded him in the last seven starts, and I'm down nearly 30 units on those plays alone as he's put together the most team wins in consecutive starts since like 1905. The worst was when he got torched in LA, only to see Philly come back and win 9-8. That was a 10U bet for me. He's been let off the hook recently more times than I care to remember.
So on Tuesday, Atlanta is +114 against ol' Vance and the Phils. I'll make a bet on this game -- nothing big, but I am taking Atlanta. Probably 2-3U. Here's the deal, though: we'll see if I can rid myself of this hex or not with a friendly points wager.
If Atlanta wins on Tuesday, I will donate 500 of my points to charity. Can a Mod set this up? I want the satisfaction of seeing this son of a bitch finally go down, and will gladly ship 500 points to the charity of a Mod's choice.
To show I'm not a horrible sport, too, I'll even donate 100 if Philly wins in honor of Vance whittling my bankroll down all season long.
