Much better than 20 years ago.......................and very good here up in the southern highlands, which is 15 miles south of downtown Las Vegas and of course, a higher elevation.
Worst air in Vegas is the extreme east central area(Sams Town area)............which is also slightly ghetto.Comment -

Aside from the gambling aspect which everyone either loves or hates, Nevada is a great state to live in. Nice range of climates, lots of nice scenery, and the economy is generally good with all the gambling revenue/taxes - at least a lot better than other states.
My wife and I are fed up with Oregon for a variety of reasons and are moving. I was pushing for northern Nevada but got overruled by her and the kids so we're off to Maui. I guess if losing means moving to Maui I'll survive. The biggest problem is all the games over here start at 7AM and are over by 5PM.Comment -

I can't remember the name of a restaurant out in the Summerlin area, but I ate there last Super Bowl Sunday. It was a Brazilian style all you can eat type thing, but they had the best prime rib, chicken, pork ribs, salad bar that is unreal.
