when do you give up on your team

i'm gotta believe you pirates fans have probly already gave up making the playoffs this year ... this team just looks piss poor out of the gate this season.

how long do you give your team before giving up on them?

When my pitchers walks 14 batters and walks in 4 of them for runs through out the game.

ok, forget the favorite team part then onlooker. i take it your refering to the O's/Bosox game last night. ... well i got one better for ya. what about when you just know pedro's gonna send it hard and often, and the Nationals still get lapped on the scoreboard

That was a tough one as well. I was on the Nationals side of that too. In that same series...La Duca drops the ball on a tag play at homeplate on Soriano, but Ump still calls him out, that is a tough one too.

I usually give up on the Astros around the start of Spring Training. Saves on the disappointment come October.

Honestly, the last two seasons have taught me to never give up on the Astros until the math says they're cooked.
