Just asked Hollywood to switch to -107, they claimed that i am a professional player because i am up 8k with them. Did not know that they do not give reduced juice to players that are up few dimes.

I was told that players who choose the Star Treatment program at Hollywood - with better bonuses but -110 lines - would never be allowed to switch to the -107 no matter what.

The reasons make sense to me. Otherwise players could just push the bigger bonuses to the max until they finally go on a winning streak and have to take payouts. Once they become no longer eligible for any more bonuses - in effect they have exhausted all the good stuff from the Star Treatment program - then everyone would naturally wish they could switch to -107.

-107 is better than -110. Who wouldn't prefer it?

Basically everyone who knows the basics of bonus manipulation, would do that if they could.

But Hollywood would be suckers to allow it IMO. So they make players pick their program when they sign up.

Not true, you can switch. If not they are lieing or they should change all their personel that have habits to tell their customers exactly the opposite answer or they do not know of what they are talking about.

Yep, you're right. It has changed since I spoke to them when they first introduced the Star Treatment program.

I just gave them a call and they said that players may request to change programs - ONE TIME ONLY. It's not automatic though. They need to e-mail the Customer Service Manager to make the request and it is up to his discretion.

In the case of switching from Star Treatment to the -107, I am told they will be much more likely to decline in the case of people who have won money and do not appear to be strictly recreational players.

        So you are correct, sir.

Is it better to choose the bonuses...or the -107, for a semipro player?

Interesting question. It depends on what exactly you mean by semi-pro.

It seems like the most profitable approach might be to take the bonuses, use them for all they're worth, then try to switch to the -107 plan.

The risk is you may be turned down for the switcheroo if you happen to start off hot. But that's not really that big a deal. If you want low-juice, there are other options, some of them lower.

Most players here favor low juice over bonuses.

Semi pro.Part time arber.Bonus hunter. But on the other hand i really like those nice odds that hollywood is offering.I m afraid that i ll be a winner if i register with holly and in this case there will be no bonuses for me...so i think the -107 might be better.

seems pretty bush to me...I just don't put Hollywood up there with pinny, mansion, cris and bet jamaica...they are in the same range as skybook to me...a book that will never rip you off, but not a top book...
