When you say ties get an equal division of the pot...

does that mean...as an example.. if USA&World tie for third... each player gets 1277 points? [(14000+9000)/2]/9

Because if it is 14000/2, then both teams do worse by tying then if they came in 4th..which makes zero sense.

Same thing is true for 2/3 tie and similar issues with no advantage to tying for first.

Please clear this up ASAP.

Sounds like you're over-thinking it.

If two teams are tied for first, they split 75,000 equally. If there's a tie for second, they split 39,000.
