    2006 Nba Mvp
Alright, with about 3 1/2 weeks left in the regular season. Now seems as good of a time as ever to discuss potential MVP candidates. My hypothetical ballot it looks something like this:
    1) Steve Nash
    2) Dwayne Wade
    3) Lebron James
    4) Kobe Bryant
    5) Dirk Nowitzki

Wade is the best P, but Nash is MV to his team

If in doubt, go with the Canadian dude.

      Mr. Nash

None of the above. How about Elton Brand. Where would the Clippers be without him.

You could also say that about the Cavs, Lakers and Suns with the players listed above for their respected teams.

Suns would be in big trouble without Nash. With Amare out, imagine that team without the general. Shawn Marion couldnt do it on his own.

I say King James, but Im a fan.

Do you agree Brand is top five looker?

Oh yes. I forgot to comment on that. Yes Brand should be mentioned above with those players. But I do think that Sam Cassell has helped that team more then most think.

no love for kobe? the lakers would be in the draft lottery wihtout bryant. he leads nba in scoring and is top 10 in steals. kobe doesnt have any body on his team to help him like some of the others on that list. kobe or lebron get my vote.

I'll go with the guy who makes the players around him better.

7 Phoenix Suns having career years, and leading a division without one of the best power forwards in the league?

I present Quentin Richardson as exhibit A. Compare Q-Rich the Knick to Q-Rich the 2004-2005 Sun.

Sure Kobe doesn't have a lot around him, but he doesn't elevate them, he elevates himself. Nash makes his teammates better. No contest.

If the MVP race was about being a one-man band, they'd just hand it to AI in November every year.

If you want to know who is going to get it...Kobe Bryant (as long as they make the playoffs).
If you want to know who should get it...Dwayne Wade.
