    Discussion-TO in Big "D"
Terrell Owens has signed a 3 year deal for as much as $25 million...That's $3 Mil, $3 Mil, & $4 Mil with bonuses each year if he's obeys Jerry & Bill Parsells. Is this a risk? or a blessing for the Cowboy's? Owens had over 700 yards, 60 catches, and 7 TD's last year with Philly in just 6 weeks last season. But, will the Dallas fans forgive him for dancing on the Star. It remains to be seen if it will happen, however if he and the rest of the team can put up some wins, then I think it will all be forgotten. After all there is no "I" in team, but with TO around maybe the "I" will become a "V" and put the Cowboys in the playoffs. Now, if the Cowboys can deal for a younger QB like...UT star V. Young or M. Leinart from USC before the draft then the next fews years could really be promising!
    Any other ideas out there?

No doubt there could be an explosion, however I think Jerry will see to it that TO gets all the help he needs and TO knows that this may be his last chance!

The Cowboys organization can only hope that life is that simple. I'm sure the fans will be willing to forgive and forget if the wins start accumulating.

Ah but then if TO has a few good games, you have to wonder if his creepy agent will start disrupting things with renegotiation demands.

History would suggest there will be other drama-queen crap from TO eventually. I think the best anyone can hope for is that it will be toned down. Maybe he will have clued in that all his his finger-pointing and general disruptiveness in the past have actually hurt him as much as anyone.

Then again, maybe he won't have learned a damn thing.

I haven't heard how much power TO's agent has been given, but you can make sure of one thing Jerry Jones has reminded him that he has the final word. It's entirely possible that Jerry may have bought out TO's agent and will have his son Steven work directly with TO. Jerry mentioned his son by name several times on ESPN's press conference earlier. This may be evidence of this in order to remove the middle man from the negoiation table! I think this will work as long as the wins mount-up, however the real problem in Dallas is developing a long term QB, which Jerry is not willing to invest the time in, as he wants to win now!

TO will definitely dance on the star again, and this time the fans will love it.

This doesn't bode too well for Bledsoe though. I don't see TO doing a 'Randy Moss' for a year if the QB isn't finding him. If Dallas can find themselves a top QB they would be major contenders, but until they solve that problem TO is a volcano that can erupt at any time.

Sh*t. This only reminds me of how long the wait is. Basketball is a very poor second.

This will ultimately be perceived as one of the greatest steals of all time, just like it was for Philadelphia before they decided they wanted to keep on stealing and not rework his contract after the monstrous season he put up the year they went to the Superbowl. I would be willing to bet that TO will in fact put up great numbers next year and that Jerry Jones will be more than happy to rework his contract if that is the case.
