Bush/Cheny of course would have brought it "home" then thought "shit" what do we do now ... then had to fend off all the attacks due to the mishandling of the body .. then got into political shit trying to send it somewhere else .. and it would have dragged on for months ...

this. the people who doubt that Bin Laden is dead because of the burial at sea (what, should every American get a chance to examine the body personally?) as well as the people who say that Obama deserves 100% of the credit are wrong. it's a great day for American and our military, period, not either political party.

It wasn't just Americans that were killed that day Cappy. There were 10 Aussies in the Twin Towers so I can only imagine how many Canadians, Brits, etc were in there as well. Plus this is the same person who led the attacks on London and Madrid. I'm not judging how anyone is reacting to this person's death as we're all free to feel what we want but although 9/11 took place on American soil, this guy affected many more people than just Americans that day and during each subsequent terrorist attack throughout the world. Never mind the service people from various countries worldwide who were involved in the hunt for this man, some of whom sacrificed their lives.
