    Bet365 & BoDog Question
    Good Day,

I am new to the scene. I have been doing a lot of research and I am confused about two factors.

    A) Why can I not open a account with Bodog if I am Canadian?

    B) Is Bet365 a good site for betting on sports? It seems that a lot of frustration experienced with this site was due to Poker Issues. Would you guys still recommend this Site as being a good Site for Sports Wagers... I like the Interface of their site. I do not want to get screwed for my money at the same time. There is nothing more frustrating, to win money and have a company deny your winnings.

    Thank you in advance.

Consider yourself lucky you can't open an account with BoDog. And I'm sure you can do better than bet365. I would not reccommend either of these sites, however this is just my opinion. The experts on this site can probably help you better than I can. I just don't care for either, Bodog is on my crap list.

      Bodog is crap.

Bet365 is not a concern at all when it comes to your money. Just avoid being a cheater when using their poker room and you will be fine.

Good question on Bodog. I find it very strange, and always have, that they will not accept Canadian players. I always felt there was more to the picture than we know about, a secret deal or something.

Bet365 has handled their poker disputes poorly. If you plan to play a lot of poker at your book of choice I would weigh in their poor handeling of poker disputes.

Two more you might give a look are CRIS and VIP. VIP is a poor choice if you are gonna play a bunch of poker.

As long as you lose, Bet$3.65 is alright. Why don't you play at the best sportsbooks? Pinnacle...WSEX...and TheGreek are top shelf.

Spot on Chuck. Too many good books out there to be wasting your time with bet $3.65. Only time you'd use them was if you need change from a $5 spot.

Thank you for the reply.. Please allow me to specify.

I appreciate all of the prompt replies. I should have specified, that I play mostly Hockey. I will never play Poker or Casino. The reason why Bet365 seemed attractive was due to the various propositions that they offered. I love propositions in Hockey. I currently play on BetWWTS and love the PXP option. I am just seeking for more propositions.

Any suggestions? I have a Pinnacle Account and do like the fact that A) I can bet in my own currency CAD, but there seems to be missing propositions....

Would Bet365 be a safe place to accomplish this?

Bet365 is a safe book but just make sure you don't win there. They don't like people that win and will quickly limit your account, hence bet $3.65. But if you're happy with what they offer then by all means fire away, not a scam book by any means.

I've read a lot of bad things about bet365...bodog's a good square book, they'll pay you and all...late lines though...

Enjoy Bet365 for as long as you lose. They have a TON of marshmallow-soft lines. I never found much in their NHL prices, though, if that's what you're betting. However, the European hockey lines are AWESOME. You can and should crush these for as long as they allow. But be warned that the second they think you might be taking advantage of them, they will cut your limits. And by cut, I mean absolutely castrate. We're talking $5 max. I had them offer me 65 cents once. That was the last time I ever logged in.
