Sometimes you got to make a bet that might not make sense by the book of sportsbetting, but your gut instinct tells you it is the correct play, and that it is a winner. That is what my gut is telling me. Cliff Lee is overdue for a win, he has had 3 quality starts in a row and just hasn't gotten much support at the plate in these outings. Westbrook is coming off a major debacle in his last outing going only 2.5 innings and giving up 8 runs I believe... St. Louis is coming home after losing a series, and I just feel that the Phillies have a major advantage in the matchup for tonight. It isn't a smart strategic wager according to the line, and the fact that they are on the road, but I really really really feel confident that they will find a way to win this game tonight and that is what I am trying to do here. Just pick a winner, regardless of lines, etc. plus in baseball home field advantage doesn't really matter to me considering the Phillies have a solid road record, and Cliff Lee pitches well on the road.

Everyone is thinking Lee is due for a win, but Cards have been able to put up runs on the board, Phils haven't at all over the weekend. And you're right, STL is coming HOME after being swept by the Reds, if you want to use the "due" factor. I just think that's a lot to risk. Westbrook gave up 5 ER last outing, but he does have run support.
