    alright fantasy sports baseball gurus
I just completed my draft in a 10 team league. I, as usual, had the last pick of the league but traded my 1st 2 picks for the 1st 2 picks of the guy picking 2nd. I put a (x) next to the player which shows the round he was drafted. who would you dump or trade and where would you upgrade?

    c) Jeff Mathis(waiver wire)
    1) Paul Konerko(6)
    2) Alfonso Soriano(2)
    3) A-rod(1)
    SS) Jeter(4)
    OF) Brian Giles(7)
    OF) Griffey(10)
    OF) Wily Mo Pena(18)
    U) Reggie Sanders(16)

    backup hitters:
    Mike Sweeney(21)
    Barry Bonds(8)
    Casey Kotchman(waiver wire)

    Pitchers:
    Matt Clement(15)
    Zach Duke(11)
    Randy Johnson(3)
    Jon Garland(9)
    Todd Jones(17)
    Esteban Loaiza(13)
    John Smoltz(5)
    Roger Clemens(12)
    Kenny Rogers(20)
    Freddy Garcia(14)

Only one closer? That will be the spot I improve on. Maybe get another, maybe 2, depending on how many relievers are allowed to start. Saves are hard to come by, and you may find it hard to trade for good closers.

It is a point system. a save or win is 10 points. A K is 1 point. a BB is -.5. a hit is -.25. an ER is -1. You can play 7 pitchers a week. In my experience alot of closers is the death of your team because what happens if they do not have any saves. With alot of starting pitchers you have have a chance at 2 starts a week for some of them.

Im just use to playing ESPN, and on there you are allowed 9 pitchers to start, and I usually go 5 starters and 4 closers. But I draft more for trading bait, because people are always looking for saves if they didnt draft any closer or a poor one.

Remember, good closers dont only help on the saves, but the ERA and WHIP as well if thats a part of your scoring.

Jeff Mathis shouldn't be on any team in a 30 team league...
