Bowmans' Clerks - Has gotten really bad
I like Bowmans quite a bit. They often give me bets over the limit on the phone. They have good customer service.

But their clerks might be the worst in the industry. They take longer than most to give the line (and this isn't some delay tactic, they really are just slow). They don't seem to be able to understand clear requests. I always ask for x team to WIN say 1000. and then most often they say, "ok so you are saying, I mean do you want to risk or win 1000". WTF Obviously I have already told them what I want, but I have to say again sometimes a couple times. They also seem to take the longest time to find games. You can even give them the rotation number when they are struggling. They don't respond, then they five seconds later ask for the rotation number.

It is frustrating to say the least. Just for comparison is crazy that Royal clerks have become some of the best in the over the past couple months (new hires, new line manager, and/or new training maybe?), while Bowmans have fallen off even more than before. Obviously Bowmans is 100% better book, but a book that good needs to work more with their clerks, is really bad.

Anyone else have experience with Bowmans betting over the phone? Feel the same?

I have a lot of respect for Bowmans but would love to see some big improvements in this area.

I have a lot of experience with Bowman's phone clerks going back to the 80's, but I don't have any recent experience since I have done all my betting with them on-line for years. They used to be simply outstanding. They were both efficient and relaxed; you could get your bet in and then have a friendly gab about the weather in Manchester (where their CS used to be located, if memory serves) or whatever.

So I am surprised to hear your report.

Its not from lack of trying. Bowmans was one of the 3 that invested heavily in what was suppose to be the best software in the indutry, that closely resembled Victor Chandlers (some say resembled a little too much). Anyway Bowmans invested nearly a mid 6 figures before finally giving up on it. They are still working hard trying to get better.

Really? I've been doing my withdrawals from Bowmans on-line for quite awhile. I use Neteller. It has been extremely fast BTW.

There is a list of methods you can do on-line but I guess you must be talking about something else.

Agree with Mudcat. If you use Neteller to w/d is cashout form on site, don't have to call in.
