    Best books for Soccer (WC2006)
Getting pretty excited for World Cup 2006....not sure why but I am. Anyway...I don't know much about soccer other than only the goalie can use his hands...but am interested in betting this summer once WC2006 starts.

Just out of curiousity what are the best books for soccer...i am with Pinnacle now but I am wondering if some of the English books like WillHill may have better lines and such.

if anyone has any insights that would be great!

Well I'd say Betfair, but I assume they still don't like the Yanks. Pinnacle offer 4c spreads on A/Hs in certain soccer leagues and I'd be surprised if they didn't extent this to WC matches. If you want to bet on 1x2 you'll be best off finding an exchange with some volume - even Pinnacle offer pretty poor value on 1x2 odds.

I do not think you can wager at WH if you are from the US.

Well maybe they just hate me cause they won't let me. Being from Boston could they be holding a grudge for that Tea Party episode???

I am sure that Pointbet and Pinnacle will have the best odds for Asian handicap but 5dimes has great odds for totals and Expekt sometimes as well. You should also get an account with bet365 as they offer all kind of things like how many corners, yellow cards etc.

The 4c lines are great on the Pin Asians, but you are limited to £162. But apparently you can bet a Further £162 on the same team if the line has moved.

I found this out on Saturday when I inadvertently placed 2 bets on the same team on the 4c lines over the course of 2 days.

After contacting customer services I was told this was fine as long as the odds have changed (Mine had)

It is always the case there. Pinnacle implements 'soft limits' philosophy and I wonder how many more people will be surprised when they are in the process of discovering that.

In my opinion, Bet365 and Easybets offer the best odds for the Asian Handicap bets for Sportsbooks.

Thanks pjesnik24 for the info. Are they really based in Costa Rica like what they had claimed? As far as I know, they have agents/runners operating for them in East Asia.
