He awarded a pk and took it away again , then refused to review 3 additional pk's that should have been called. Extremely suspect and should be reviewed by the Spanish soccer Federation imo.

BTW, I looked it up. See my comment to Franz above: *SPA La Liga is certainly NOT a league with a reputation for low-scoring tight affairs.

La Liga games tend to be more free-flowing with goal-scoring opportunities. That's one of the reasons the Real/Barca tilts are so entertaining. It's usually not 0-0, and it's no sure thing that the Home team will win.

I get the rationale with total because the thinking is that you have a 50/50 shot vs the side with a, supposed 1/3 shot.
