    Sweet 16 Picks

    Gonzaga -9

    Gonzaga struggled against the size of the Memphis frontline, Arkansas doesn't have the same frontline and Arkansas has struggled to score in the tournament. Arkansas prefers to play fast so Gonzaga should get their tempo.

    Miami-Fl -2.5 - Iowa State beat a Wisconsin team that didn't have their starting point guard and Davis wasn't fully heathy. The ACC has been underrated all tournament well the big 12 has not been impressive.

    Kansas -7.5 - Providence has beaten 2 weaker opponents, but Providence struggled when they stepped up in competition against Villanova, and Providence likes to play fast, which is the tempo Kansas prefers. Kansas has a lot of experience facing the zone defenses Providence uses from playing and having success against Baylor.

    North Carolina +2.5 - UCLA beat St. Mary's easily, but St. Mary's wasn't very athletic and St. Mary preferred a slow tempo North Carolina likes to play at. North Carolina is playing their best basketball and UCLA has been inconsistent most of the season. The ACC has been the most underrated conference at the tournament by far.

    Duke +1 - Duke's issue this season was defense, but Tech isn't a consistent offensive team and Duke has played their best in big games, Tech doesn't have the size Michigan State did.

    Why another thread when you have a thread called ncaa tournament picks already?
    Can we get the mods to make sure he doesn’t do this with the same subjects when he doesn’t get the attention he so desperately is seeking?

    Baylor was down 25 points in the second round and they were the second best team in the conference. Kansas beat Creighton by 1 point.

    Wins and losses by themselves need to be put in context with strength of schedule and margin of victory or defeat.

    Iowa State beat Wisconsin after Wisconsin lost their starting point guard, and Wisconsin's best player Davis was clearly not healthy.

    I am going to assume you don't watch much college hoops. Baylor was missing both their leading scorer and leading rebounder vs North Carolina, who was also the B12 defensive player of the year. They both played 0 minutes due to injury. North Carolina would have lost by double digits if they played Baylor's actual roster.

    Iowa State played a true road game in Milwaukee with 90% of the crowd being Wisconsin fans, and won. They are also 15-0 against non-B12 teams including beating Creighton, Xavier, Memphis, and Iowa.

    I'm going to assume you didn't know Baylor was down 25 to north carolina, 25 points. Kansas barely won against a Creighton team that was without a key player, and Wisconsin's best player was playing on one leg.

    Again, the best team in the conference was Kansas - they beat Creighton by 1 even though Creighton was without by far their best defender.
