It looks like its from Draftkings - according to the table of data.

I know you cannot win consistently betting the opposite of the higher betting percentages, but when the lines are moving against them then I would say they win more often than not.

Washington State was one of them last night, where BYU had the higher betting percentage at 64% handle and yet the line dropped and that made no sense as it should have went up to balance the action. Good thing that I didn't go by what BYU scored (over 90+) in their two previous games.

This is an example where I see these betting percentages may be totally meaningless as they are opposites of each other. So, who is telling the true numbers? If I had to guess, I would say it's ScoresandOdds, but then draftkings is for online bets all across the country and what's reported by ScoresandOdds are the betting percentages in some Vegas sportsbooks.

Sportsinsights used to have free betting percentages, but they aren't working anymore.

I can't see why they would bother sending them at all if they were just making them up, but dont know obv.



Bear in mind that the morning numbers at one book can be easily affected by a handful of large bets. Afternoon %s are probably closer to reality. They do not give us closing data to compare to and see how accurate the early data ends up though.

Hopefully some people are finding it useful. Maybe going back and analyzing the tourney data afterward will be interesting to someone as well.
