Best Pay App for Sports Streaming on Smart Android TV?

Really don't want to miss my NHL playoffs, but will be cutting the cord as my DirectTV subscription is over next week. I'm not paying 180 a month anymore (that 2 year contract is OVER but the 180 included internet too). What sports do I watch? The major 3. NHL, MLB, and NFL. Not much else. I hate losing some of the regular cable channels but oh well.

So, what app would be best for my Smart TV? Hulu? Peacock? Youtube? Fubo? I don't want to use a VPN and mess around with trying to stream free. And how much a month or for the year am I looking at?

do yourself the favor and get an IPTV service (which will have an Android app that you can either download to your TV's android platform or to an android streaming device like a Fire TV). cost will be $10-$15 per month depending on which service you buy and you'll get every channel conceivable to man

Simply Streaming. All major sports, all movie channels, music, all cable channels, 500 local networks from all over the country, plus foreign channels from all over the world. About $130/year.

Checked out the web site for them Orange. I'm assuming you are a "CUSE" fan up there near Utica, New York? Syracuse. Lions just got a steal on that CB out of the Cuse in the draft.

Question: Is this a direct app from them I can "attempt" to put on my Dumb TV (Smart)? I have a Samsung. One is probably 3 years old the other is probably 5 years old.

Big O.....Thanks for the call on Simply Streaming. As I told Orby, I started lmfao after seeing every single baseball, basketball, and hockey game on the schedule to watch as normally that would cost me 250 a month or something as a total cable/satellite package. I used Simply Streaming as you requested.

Orby....it goes right on TV. No box. But, I will buy an Android box because they will charge me 2 bucks a month for their "hosting" service. That will add up over a few years...........LOL!

So, Mr. JJ Bronze.....I'm paying 15 a month and I have 5 times more channels than you. Live sports too, all kinds of movies, etc. TV shows on demand. It never ends. They have option for adult entertainment, but I declined because my daughter is around here and there and so is my niece. But, Mr. Bronze, I'm sure you and your SBR circle-jerk team would love unlimited porn channels if you decide to go rogue.

    Thanks again BigOrange and Orby!

Can someone make a list of the steps to get this installed for dummies?

Do they send it in the mail to clip on your tv or app?

Dude. I'll walk you through it. PM me. First time I did any of this and to me its awesome. Closest I had was an app from my cable provider one time. But I'm going to crash so it won't be right now.

Best advice is google "IPTV for dummies" (no offense intended) and read. Plenty of info and lots of services available. Annual/semi-annual subs are cheaper but services come and go all the time. Yours goes bye-bye so does your money. I prefer month to month. At the end of the day it's still a drop in the bucket compared to DTV/Cable, so whatever works for you.

Roy I will link it here:
    https://iptvsubscription.site/simply-tv-iptv/

I have an older Smart TV Samsung (2016). I went under Samsung apps (you should be updating your tv in the settings which I think will also update the apps - must have it connected to internet obviously). I have an ethernet cable from internet modem to back of tv. You can also go wireless too.

I have noticed using a "bridged" or "wired" connection will prevent as many of the pauses/slow-downs/etc. while streaming. You can switch to "wired" in your network settings on your tv.

The signup is funky because you need to go back and forth between tv and pc/phone to verify things like your tv mac address. So, to explain, you need a "host" for simply streaming.

My TV has several IPTV apps under Samsung Apps in my smart hub. I used Smart STB. Smart STB is your hosting for this. The simply streaming is the portal (or look at it like a web domain) being on the Smart STB server.

If you are using your Smart TV then ask them (email them) which app to use. You can also use a firestick, android box, (not Roku) for them. They have other options too that I forgot (other boxes you can use).

Troy Point is a great site which does detailed tutorials as how to set up your Fire TV, how to load free TV/Movie apps onto your Fire TV, and there's also a section which discusses different subscription-based IPTV services. start here with the basics to get your Fire TV set up:

    https://troypoint.com/how-to-jailbreak-a-firestick/

then go here to read about different IPTV services:
